Local History

Land records are treasure troves of information, giving us glimpses into past owners, land uses and settlement. I research tenure history for determination of Native Title status (e.g. for mining and exploration sites and associated infrastructure). Other research work for private, corporate and government clients includes pastoral occupation, municipal anniversaries, historical tours and more.

My 12-minute digital story “Mt Crosby: A Short History” shows how the story of a place may be presented using a mix of historical photographs and archival sources, along with new images and film.
