Somerset College in Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast opened its doors in 1983 as a coeducational, non-denominational Christian school catering for primary and secondary students. Using a wide variety of interviews as well as School and external sources, this book explores the history of the School and its students, staff and supporters in a series of thematic chapters. Topics include the environmental, political and historical context of the establishment of the School, academics, extra-curricular and sporting matters, spiritual and pastoral care, the business of running a private school, and fund raising.
